About me
I am the Assistant Director of the Minnesota River Valley Education District in Montevideo, MN. I have been in this position for 10 years. Previous to coming to the MRVED, I taught high school social studies at Yellow Medicine East in Granite Falls, MN. I completed my undergraduate studies at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN (B.A. History, 5-12 license to teach social studies). I completed my graduate studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2011 (M.S. Educational Technology).
I have 3 children, Adelyn 12, Gretta 7, and Eli 4. My wife Katie is the Administrative Assistant for the MRVED.
I love the field of education and anything technology, thus the masters in Educational Technology! When I am not tinkering on my computer or other devices, you can usually catch me watching reality television or anything sports. Baseball is the sport I am most passionate about. I have coached baseball in some capacity since I was 15 years old. I am currently the high school JV baseball coach for Montevideo and the Vice Director for American Legion Baseball in Minnesota.
